H.E.R Campaign is an initiative designed to support and empower Black and Indigenous survivors of trauma that focuses on three key areas: Heal, Evolve and Revive (H.E.R) to foster resilience and cultural restoration within these communities. It will start with a 6 week plan leading to future growth.
The purpose of H.E.R Campaign is to provide culturally sensitive support and resources that address the unique challenges face by Black and indigenous SURVIORS of trauma particularly in relation to sexual violence, gender base violence and systemic oppression.
The mission of H.E.R Campaign is to heal, evolve and revive Black and Indigenous survivors by offering culturally relevant healing practices, creating spaces for personal growth and community engagement, and promoting resilience and restoration through traditional and contemporary methods. The campaign aims to remove barriers to accessing support particularly legal assistance related to gender-based violence while raising awareness and educating individuals, organization, and institution on issues of sexual violence, gender base violence, anti-oppression, and anti-racism.
