Summer Youth Council

Summer of 2022, 2023

Join Revive’s Youth Council during the summer. Youth Council is a series of focus groups developed for youth to have the opportunity to have their ideas heard in a safe environment. 

Volunteer hours and gifts are included for participation! 

Topics include: ​

  • Building healthy relationships
  • Navigating conflict
  • Sexual assault awareness
  • Queer and trans identities
  • Mental wellness

Activities includes: 

  • Field trip to the ROM and Art Galleries
  • Mural Painting 

                    and so much more! 

Open to youth ages 14 – 17! Keep an eye out for 2024 summer registration! 

Chronic Pain Workshop Series

Once a week for 4 weeks

“Just like there’s always time for pain, there’s always time for healing.”

Join us for an interactive 4-week program where you can learn more about Chronic Pain and how to treat it.

Have an opportunity to share your challenges, success, and overall experiences with a small open group. Learn about others experiences with Chronic Pain as well. Connect with others and learn about how Chronic Pain has impacted them.

Talk 1 on 1 privately with our chat therapist moderator for any questions, concerns, or guidance you may need.

Opportunities to win e-gift cards, books, and other cool prizes by completing the 4-week program.

Group Sessions

Every Tuesday from August 8th - 24th, 2023 In-Person

Join Revive for an interactive 4-session psycho-educational group program focused on grief and trauma.

The psycho-educational group session will infuse both grief and trauma, however, no sharing of personal experiences will be involved.

The group sessions will run for 4 weeks starting August 8 – August 24. This is an open group program; there is no requirement to attend all weekly sessions. You are welcomed to attend as many or as little sessions as you see fit!

Schedule: 

Week 1: Tuesday, August 8: Grief

  • Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Week 2: Tuesday, August 15: Associated Concepts of Grief, Shame, Guilt, Loss

  • Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Week 3: Tuesday, August 22: Infusion of Trauma, Tips and Techniques to Cope

  • Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Week 4: Thursday, August 24: Reflection, Coping Techniques*

  • Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

*Please know week 4 will run the same week as week 3 due to office closure on the last week of August.

A $25 gift card will be provided for weekly session attendance. Refreshments and snacks will be provided each week.

Colour Me Caribbean

Every Wednesday from August 3, 2022 to September 7, 2022 Virtual

Facilitated by our Gender-Based Violence Team at Revive, Colour Me Caribbean is a Caribbean initiative for women empowering women through discussions on gender-based violence, mental health, and intergenerational trauma.
