Enhanced Wellness Program (EWP)
EWP is an outreach program designed to eliminate barriers to trauma services for individuals unable or unwilling to engage in intensive trauma treatment. Participation in EWP entails skills to promote safety, stabilization and social inclusion.
The EWP deals with a variety of service issues, including but not limited to:
• Suicidality • Self-harm • Sleep hygiene • Substance misuse (not substance use – only that which impacts daily functioning) • Coping skills
Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a psychotherapy modality that supports individuals in healing from the impacts of traumatic life experiences through the processing of traumatic memories. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to support clients in reducing physiological arousal and negative beliefs associated with traumatic events. EMDR is effective in the treatment of a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
We provide psychotherapeutic support through individual crisis counselling for anyone impacted by relationship or sexual violence. We offer 12 free sessions for individuals aged 12+. Our clinical team is comprised of regulated health professionals who will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets your needs.
