What we do

REVIVE is an accredited, community-based organization providing trauma-informed healing, prevention, and justice-connected supports for women, especially Black women and families impacted by gender-based violence and complex trauma.

Grounded in culturally responsive and survivor-centred practice, our work honours lived experience and responds to the realities survivors face, including systemic barriers, family disruption, and involvement with the justice system. We deliver wraparound supports through clinical care, prevention and education, employment, advocacy, and collaboration across community and justice systems.

REVIVE works beyond crisis to support long-term healing, stability, and rebuilding lives with dignity. Our approach is guided by equity, accountability, and a commitment to strengthening systems of care so individuals, families, and communities can thrive free from violence

Together, we heal. Together, we rise.

🎯

Our Mission

REVIVE provides long-term, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive support to individuals impacted by gender-based violence—especially Black women, children, and families navigating complex trauma and systemic barriers. Through clinical care, prevention, justice-connected support, and community resources, we empower individuals to move beyond crisis toward safety, healing, and lasting stability.

🕊️

Our Vision

A community where anyone impacted by violence has access to the care, resources, and connection they need to reclaim their safety, agency, and long-term well-being—and where prevention, justice, and healing work together to break cycles of harm.

Our Pillars

❤️‍🩹

Heal

We provide long-term, trauma-informed counselling and emotional stabilization for women, especially Black women and their families, navigating complex trauma. Healing at REVIVE extends beyond crisis and recognizes that recovery is relational, ongoing, and shaped by lived experience, including experiences of violence, loss, and systemic harm.

Empower

We strengthen agency through prevention, education, advocacy, and skill-building. Empowerment includes community education, youth engagement, and supports that help survivors make informed choices and navigate systems with confidence.

🌱

Rebuild

We support justice-connected reintegration and long-term stability for survivors navigating court involvement, incarceration, and community re-entry. Rebuilding focuses on safety, family stability, and restoring pathways to participation, dignity, and well-being,
